Representative Endorsement

You have been selected by the Seymour Valley Community Association Board to represent the community in meetings or in a public forum regarding a particular issue that may affect the community as a whole.  Your role as a community representative may gain you access to certain meetings or events that an individual citizen may not have.  Your purpose is to gather information from both sides of the debate and report back to the Board.  It is Board’s function to determine a direction or a position for the community with regard to the issue, which may or may not differ from your own.  Only with the Board’s permission may you act as a spokesperson to communicate or present this position as the SVCA representative on behalf of the community as a whole.  To avoid confusion, you will refrain from presenting your personal views while attending and speaking as the designated SVCA representative.
